On Thursday night we're extremely lucky to have a chance to tour with Australia's morris dancing touring exports, The Adelaide Morris Men!

We'll also be joined by our friends, the highly excellent East Surrey Morris Men, as well.

The place(s) to be is/are/am:

• 7pm at Westminster Abbey
• 8pm at The Westminster Arms (Storey's Gate)
• 9pm at The Greencoat Boy (Greencoat Place)

On Monday night we'll be visiting the village of Headington, just outside of Oxford, as guests of the Headington Quarry Morris Men. The programme for the evening is:

1. 6:30 pm The Crown And Thistle (Old Road, Titup) - Map
2. 7:30 pm The Six Bells (Beaumont Road) - Map
3. 8:15 pm The Chequers (Beaumont Road) - Map
4. 9 pm The Mason's Arms (2 Quarry School Road) - Map

Wednesday May 19th sees the return of our tour of East Finchley.

If you're in the area, or have a penchant for the Northern Line, why not come watch?!

The times & sites for the tour will be:

• 7:45pm : The Windsor Castle (The Walks, N2 8DL)
• 8:30pm : The Five Bells (165-167 East End Road)
• 9:15pm : The White Lion (121 Great North Road)

To find the Windsor Castle from East Finchley tube station, head North along East Finchley High Street, aka the A1000, and turn left along Leopold Road, then turn right down the alley into The Walks. It will take 5-10 minutes to walk from East Finchley station, depending on how fast you walk.

It'll be more fun than you can shake a stick at! (ho ho ho, etc.)

The Westminster Day of Dance has passed, and the sound of jingling bells ebbs out of the capital's streets for the time being.

The Westminster Morris Men wish to say a huge thankyou to all of our guests who joined us on Saturday for what was our biggest Day of Dance ever. We enjoyed your company and your dancing, and hope that you all had a splendid time.

And thanks also go to our army of friends, fans and supporters - whose dedication we truly value.

I suppose we'd better get cracking on putting together next year's event...

Westminster Morris Men - Day of Dance (8th May 2010)

We're pleased to finally announce that the dancing programme for this year's Westminster Day of Dance will run as follows:

Note for dancers: As previously announced, the meeting & warmup point for the morning is The Barley Mow on Horseferry Road (SW1P 2EE - map here) from 9am onwards. The tour groups depart at 10am for their first dancing sites.
