Why indeed!

I hate getting SPAM, as do we all and one sure-fire way of getting loads of it is to publish your email address on a publicly available web page. As an unregisterd user, you will see that there are no email addresses or ‘phone numbers on view.

You can still contact the team via the Contact Us page – so that’s no reason then.

What happens when I register?

You provide a few basic details, as much or as little as you like and the web site then sends you a verification message. Click on the link in that message and your account is activated. This confirms for us that there is most likely to be a human being attached to this email address and not a spam-bot so we know we can trust you with our secrets.

You’re going to sell my details!

No we are not. Your contact details will not be shared or sold anywhere. We are very unlikely to ever send you an email ourselves.

If you want us to keep you up to date with our doings, go to the Groupies newsletter area and subscribe to it.

So what do I get for registering?

You can ask us to publish a link to your web site. You can publish comments on various parts of the site and publish your own news articles. You can take part in the Discussion area of the site and you can publish your own photos to our gallery.

Members of the team will also get access to private areas of the site where we can discuss team business.
